The Tour Itself!

The 2006 Tour De Sol competition is held by NESEA (Northeast Sustainable Energy Association) once a year and features events, competitions and activities promoting the use of 'sustainable energy' and future transportation. There will be a "green car" show withenergy friendly vehicles along with the Saratoga Spring Auto Show.

 

 

What we're doing there!

Our car will participate in the Tour De Sol Championship which will be from May 10th to May 14th driving from Saratoga to Albany and participating in various Tour De Sol activities!

The draft schedule of events includes:

 

Tuesday, May 9 Arrive at Saratoga Springs in the evening

Wednesday, May 10

On-site registration, technical testing, acceleration and hill climb events

Thursday, May 11

50-mile drive, press events, Team-to-Team presentations

Friday, May 12

Display at "Student Day" followed by Range, Reliability and Efficiency event

Saturday, May 13

Display at Saratoga's Spring Auto Show followed by Autocross event

Sunday, May 14

Awards Brunch
